Get Ripped For The Winter!

A lot of people ask me what I do in the gym. I decided to post my new regimen that I’ve been doing. I guess you should consult your local physician and shit before doing this, but no one does that, right?

Monday:

Cardio

Tuesday (A):

5 x 5 Squats

5 x 5 Bench press

5 x 5 Bent Over Rows

3 x 10 Incline Bench Press

3 x 10 Decline Bench Press

3 x 10 Dumbell Bicep Curls

3 x 10 Hammer Curls

3 x Failure Pull Ups

30 mins of Cardio

Wednesday:

Hike 

Ab workouts at peak

Thursday (B):

5 x 5 Squats 

5 x 5 Overhead Press

1 x 5 Deadlift

3 x 10 Dumbell Shrugs

3 x 10 Lat Pull downs

3 x 10 Cable Rows

30 mins of Cardio

Friday:

Hike or Cardio

Ab workouts after

Saturday (A):

5 x 5 Squats

5 x 5 Bench press

5 x 5 Bent Over Rows

3 x 10 Hamstring Curls

3 x 10 Quad Raises

3 x 10 Calf Raises

30 mins of Cardio

Sunday:

Rest

The Next week:

This is where it gets kind of confusing. So the first three workouts on Tu, Thurs, and Sat will alternate on your lift days. So, everytime you hit the gym you should be doing the opposite workout of the one you did last time. (Ex. tues - a, thurs - b, sat - a, tues - b, thurs - a, sat - b) The last three workouts stay the same every week.

My goal:

The goal of this plan is to continue to build strength while building up neglected muscles.
The A and B workouts are Stronglifts, and I added the last 3 to build definition. The excessive cardio is to cut weight, and in the end have a stronger toned body. Stronglifts can get you pretty toned on its on, but I’m hoping this will get me better muscle definition.
